What's New in 2013!

Posted on 13:14 by Unknown
Happy 2013 everyone! I know it's been a few weeks, but that just shows how busy we are.

2013 is going to be an amazing year for Cleats For Bare Feet.

At the risk of sounding a little egotistical...C4BF has a new team member...me; my name is Josh. I am a UMBC student, majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies: Leadership Development and Social Entrepreneurship. I am a huge soccer fan, I am a dedicated Chelsea FC supporter, and love helping people to play this wonderful game safely. Without the right equipment it's hard for them to reach their fullest potential.

One of my jobs is redeveloping the website and building our social following. I will also be working on ensuring that C4BF has the best reach possible. From setting up collection drives to finding creative ways to donate equipment all around the world. If you're involved in the soccer world, tournaments, or have a method to aid in delivery, expect to hear from me in the coming weeks.

As mentioned above, we have begun working on a new website. It is in the works and should launch before the end of January. It is a step closer to what we really are working towards, which is a way to connect the people who donate equipment with the people who are receiving the equipment. That project will take a little more time...and money.

Here's a sneak peek though: www.cleatsforbarefeet.com

Speaking of which, we will be launching a crowd funding initiative through IndieGoGo. This will allow us to earn enough money to keep Cleats For Bare Feet going for at least another year and help in the launch of the website we NEED!

Check out this short video we made to introduce you to 4/5 of the C4BF team and to explain our goals for the year.

We're really looking forward to the year, and all the new things happening around the C4BF office.

Let us know if you can help us make our dreams a reality by donating your used equipment, contacting us if you need a pair of cleats, or if you'd be interested in sponsoring our program financially  Any way you choose will help 'Lend a helping hand to a foot in need.'

You can find out more information at: www.cleatsforbarefeet.com or by joining our network on Facebook.
